Travel & PD Policy
Travel and professional development funding requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
The university travel restriction remains in place for now and will likely not be lifted until our campuses fully reopen in the fall or later.
Requests for funding will be reviewed by the associate dean/director in each area and will privilege requests that come with a business justification and/or rationale for why the professional development must occur this fiscal year. When the travel restriction ends, the same process will apply to conference/event attendance. Please speak with your associate dean/director if you have questions about a specific professional development event or conference.
- Travel/PD Form must be completed before the event/conference/travel
- When saving your request, you and your supervisor will receive email notification
- When new comments are added to your request about approval or updates, you will receive email notification
- To edit a request: click the title, select the Edit tab, make changes, and Save
- In order to auto-calculate select fields, numerical fields are auto-filled to '0' by default
