Collection Advisory Council

The primary purpose of the committee is to aid in the management of the lifecycle of library resources, including the review of new resource requests, and the ongoing assessment of existing resources and collections to aid in decision-making related to retention, disposition, and physical space planning. The committee will evaluate resources and collections using data from a variety of sources to ensure that its recommendations account for the diverse factors that contribute to the value and impact of information resources at CMU.
